ICAIF '26 offers travel support to help students who need financial assistance attend the conference. The QRT Student Travel Awards encourage participation across the AI and finance community.

Awards are intended to help with travel-related costs such as transport, accommodation, and meals. The number and amount of awards depend on available funding and the applications received.

Who can apply

The shared ICAIF 2026 Travel Grant form welcomes undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students who need support to attend. It also accepts applications from postdoctoral and other early-career researchers for the wider travel grant programme.

  • Share your current institution, career stage, and travel origin.
  • Describe why attending ICAIF '26 would benefit your academic or professional work.
  • Explain your financial need and any other funding available to you.
  • Tell us about any ICAIF 2026 involvement, if applicable; a submission is optional.

How to apply

Complete the ICAIF 2026 Travel Grant Application on Google Forms. The same form is used for these student awards. It asks for:

  1. Your academic or professional status and institution.
  2. Your ICAIF 2026 participation, if any.
  3. Your estimated costs in EUR and other available funding.
  4. Your motivation and the benefit you expect from attending.

Applications are submitted in the form. There is no email or single-PDF submission step.

How applications are assessed

The selection committee considers the following factors together:

  • Financial need and other sources of support.
  • The expected academic or professional benefit of attending ICAIF '26.
  • Involvement in the conference, where applicable.
  • Broad geographic and institutional participation.

A submitted or accepted contribution is not a requirement.
